Seattle Writes

Our Seattle Writes program offers you time and space to experiment and improve your creative writing. We offer year-round drop-in writing circles, a fall series of classes, and recordings available anytime.

Civics and social services

Community Resource Specialist

Our Community Resource Specialist can help you find shelter, mental health counseling, job training, food assistance, legal help, domestic violence support or medical help. We also loan Wi-Fi hotspots and books to those living in encampments.

About the Northeast Branch

The current Northeast Branch was expanded and reopened June 26, 2004. It has a large children’s area with family-friendly seating. It is one of the most heavily-used branches in the Library system.
